Katie Bovee, MD

Katie Bovee, MD, FAAP is a board-certified pediatrician with more than 13 years of experience caring for infants, children, and adolescents. She is passionate about building long-term relationships with families and providing compassionate, evidence-based care that supports children through every stage of growth and development.

Dr. Bovee earned her Doctor of Medicine from The George Washington University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, where she received comprehensive training in pediatric medicine and child health.

Before joining Winchester Pediatric Clinic, Dr. Bovee practiced for more than a decade at Piedmont Pediatrics in Warrenton, Virginia. During her time there, she provided care for patients from infancy through young adulthood.

Dr. Bovee has also served as Department Head of Pediatrics at Fauquier Hospital, where she helped develop policies for the pediatric department and participated in efforts to establish a Level II NICU to improve neonatal care in the region.

She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) and is committed to helping children grow up healthy while supporting parents with thoughtful guidance and partnership.

Outside of the office, Dr. Bovee enjoys spending time with her family, attending live music concerts (especially Dave Matthews Band), reading, traveling, and relaxing at the beach searching for sea glass. Many of her weekends are spent at swim meets, and she enjoys watching football during the fall season.

Dr. Bovee looks forward to caring for the children and families of the Winchester community.
