I’m a lifelong Virginian who began my nursing career at Fairfax Hospital on the Pediatric Med/Surg unit. After a few years working at a children’s hospital in Virginia Beach, I returned to Northern Virginia and back to Fairfax. As I moved into nursing leadership, I realized how much I missed hands-on patient care, which inspired me to return to school and pursue my CPNP-PC.
I earned my BSN from James Madison University and my MSN from the University of Texas at Arlington. I enjoy helping families understand their children’s health and believe clear, compassionate communication is one of the most important parts of pediatric care.
When my husband and I moved to Winchester, I kept hearing great things about Winchester Pediatric Clinic and knew it would be a wonderful fit. Working with children brings me so much joy—their honesty, humor, and big smiles brighten every day.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and with my two dogs: Oliver, my English Bulldog known as “Bubba,” and Diesel, my American Staffordshire Terrier who still insists he’s a lap dog. I also love gardening, especially planting a new peony bush each year and tending to my summer vegetable garden.
